I'm a student of philosophy at the University of California Santa Cruz. I'm pretty knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. I subscribe to a few different philosophies, one I'm more adamant about is Atheism.

I believe that we stand on a precipice, both technologically and ideologically. Most precariously we stand; between destruction and enlightenment (for lack of a better term). Right now is like no other time that has come before it. In this age power is more centralized than ever before, our ability as a race to educate and feed the masses is unequaled. However, our ability to keep ignorant the masses and to enslave peoples is unequaled.

Now is a time like no other; we have to understand that, and if we wish to shape this most turbulent and malleable time, we must strike while the iron's hot.

I believe we can reach a new age of peace and freedom- without religion, without a god or gods, without superstition. Indeed I believe religion, gods, and superstition impede our progress towards our goal of this new age.
