A lot of things can get in the way. One is that we are afraid of how our words will alter how the other will see us. A lot of people shy away from honesty in this respect, we fear being "too honest" because it may lose us friends.

The problem is that we cannot see ourselves as others see us. So their honesty is all we have to go on to show us our true selves as we are to those around us.

So, in short, I think that our lack of honesty can get in the way of us connecting with others, in a true, non-superficial manner.

I would like to be remembered as one that was uncompromising in my beliefs about how best to make my own purpose, no matter the consequence. I would also like to be remembered as one that made a difference, or major impact. I haven't done these things yet, but before the end, I will.
